The owners have taken a number of green measures to reduce the environmental impact of their tourism business and contribute positively to their surroundings. Some of these initiatives include installation of a wood pellet biomass stove, and use of timber from local and sustainable sources.
To minimise further the environmental impact, guests are encouraged to arrive by public transport: the nearest train station . From there, it’s a 25 mile to the accommodation.
